This is an internal, 3.5" IDE Iomega Zip drive. This
drive is based on Magneto Optical technology and
enables you to use 100 megabyte (116 floppy
disks) capacity Zip disks. You can use a Zip drive
for anything, making hard drive back-ups,
transporting information from one place to another
(Zip disks are the size of a normal floppy disk) and
expanding the storage capacity of your system by
an unlimited amount. If you run out of disk space,
simply put a new disk in.
The Zip drive is no slouch either, transfering data at upto 1.4 megabytes per second, the equivelant of a 10x Speed CD-Rom drive. This Zip drive comes complete with instructions, A 3.5" mounting kit for fitting to a 5.1/4" drive bay and the full Amiga version of Iomega's Zip tools.
